About Us

Hi there!

It's been a while since we've checked in. Some of you have been with us since our doors opened in 2006 and many others are new! We thought it would be nice to say HI and bring you into our Mahina Universe as we introduce you to the women who make Mahina a special place to be!

Mahina was born in Hawaii, a place surrounded by warm ocean waters, where you can share a beach with sleeping turtles, hike luscious forests, and best of all, where people are kind and happy. Lucky for us, many of those kind, happy people happen to be women who love good style.

As a long-established business in Hawaii we’ve seen the islands and fashion change over time. We've ALWAYS had fun figuring out what’s next!

The past two years have really reminded us that all of the things we do, people are what matters most.  Our team is full of incredibly talented, kind, multi-faceted women who have been the backbone of Mahina for all these years. In addition to managing our stores every day, they are mothers, designers, creatives, puppy/kitty moms, and all-around amazing humans.

Back in November, we had an opportunity to come together for the first time since we closed our doors due to Covid. It was so nice to see familiar faces in person again, catch up, meet new additions to our Mahina family and celebrate the women who saw us through some of our toughest times. We took advantage of having the team all in one place and captured a special Mahina moment on film. We hope you enjoy and look forward to a great year with you all!
